We produce all our metal products in-house using multiple cutting-edge panel machines, with the capability to run metal panels on-site. Our panels are made from 48” wide master coils that are slit down to the sizing and color specifications that you need. Depending on the material requirements, we can run:

  • 22-gauge to 26-gauge painted steel
  • .032 to .063 painted aluminum
  • 16 oz to 20 oz copper

Concealed Fastener Styles

Metal Formers, Inc. also specializes in Concealed Fastened Systems. Concealed fastener systems work by clipping the panels together with a hidden fastener that is screwed directly into the decking. This way, there’s no bulky screws visible along your roof and you are not screwing directly into the panel which can cause a leak point over time.

Exposed Fastener Styles

We offer a variety of exposed fastener roof and wall panel profiles, all of which are manufactured in-house. The fasteners penetrate directly through the panel and into the solid structure behind the panel. Using fasteners in the same color as the roof panels installed can make them less visible. Exposed fastener roof panels are often less costly than concealed roofing panels due to multiple factors, which could include installation cost differences and thinner gauge metal that is used due to the strengthening ribs in the profiles.
