Metal roofs run hot
A standing seam roof in a Tennessee summer gets hot enough to soften cheap underlayment. We stock products rated for that heat, plus synthetic felt for the rest of the deck.
We carry VB Synthetics underlayment and GAF FeltBuster. Add rolls to your panel order and they ride on the same truck.
Two products cover most roofs
VB Defender
Four-layer woven synthetic for steep slopes. Anti-slip coating on both sides, nails or staples down flat, and handles up to 180 days of sun.
VB Extreme SA
SBS modified bitumen adhesive rated from −20°F to 260°F. Sticks to metal and plywood, with a split release liner and a walkable surface. Up to 180 days of UV exposure.
