Why PAC-CLAD

What PAC-CLAD is

PAC-CLAD is the panel and coil line from Petersen, a Carlisle company. Their steel and aluminum carry a 70% PVDF (Kynar 500) finish with a 35-year non-prorated warranty, and more than 40 colors are stocked in 24 ga steel.

When a spec names PAC-CLAD, the panels, the flashings and often the underlayment all have to match. We bend those flashings from matching PAC-CLAD flat sheet, and our PAC-CLAD flashing details guide shows each one going on.

Metal Formers is a certified PAC-CLAD roll former. Product specs on these pages come from PAC-CLAD by Petersen and link back to PAC-CLAD’s own pages. PAC-CLAD, Tite-Loc, Tite-Loc Plus and Snap-Clad are trademarks of Petersen Aluminum Corporation.

The panels

Seam height and lock decide most of it. The mechanically seamed Tite-Loc panels go down to a 1/2:12 slope. The snap-together panels need 2:12 or more and go on faster because there’s no seamer.

Through Metal Formers

PAC-CLAD through Metal Formers

We roll form all five panels in our Mt. Juliet shop from PAC-CLAD coil. Our New Tech SSQ II has a die for each PAC-CLAD profile on these pages, so your panels and matching flashings come from one shop.

We’re a certified PAC-CLAD roll former. We bend the flashings from PAC-CLAD flat sheet and coil, and we can make sample pieces for your crew to check on the roof before we run the rest.

We work in 24 ga PAC-CLAD steel and .032 and .040 aluminum. For long runs, we can also form panels right on your site, in as many trips as the job needs.
